Director and Managing Associate General Counsel

📋 Description

• Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing commercial legal team.
• Advise VP of Americas GFO and leadership on go-to-market and sales strategies.
• Provide hands-on support on multiple concurrent transactions incl SaaS, IaaS, and services.
• Drive operational efficiency for a fast-moving sales organization.
• Collaborate with LGA experts, outside counsel, and stakeholders to structure transactions and manage risk.
• Develop and improve playbooks, templates, and policies to speed deals.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and active U.S. bar membership in good standing.
• 10+ years negotiating complex SaaS, cloud, IaaS tech agreements with data/privacy provisions.
• Experience managing and developing a team of commercial lawyers.
• Trusted advisor to senior executives with strong business judgment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, Security, Privacy, Finance, and Ops.
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach to managing and engaging on multiple deals.
