Director, Corporate Counsel - Privacy

📋 Description

• Lead a global privacy legal team and advise executives.
• Advise on privacy laws for security, engineering, product, and execs.
• Negotiate privacy terms in MSAs and DPAs.
• Provide day to day privacy support with pragmatic guidance.
• Manage investigations of privacy incidents and obligations.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies and runbooks.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in-house or law firm as practicing attorney; 5+ years in privacy and data protection; SaaS preferred.
• Translate complex privacy issues into clear guidance for non legal teams.
• Lead and manage a global privacy team with stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with highly regulated customers, preferably financial services.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, drafting and negotiation.
• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA CPRA HIPAA NIST ISO FedRAMP PCI DSS.
