Director, Credit Risk

📋 Description

• Lead underwriting, portfolio management, and credit risk across Brex's existing customer portfolio
• Develop portfolio strategies balancing growth, customer experience, and performance
• Partner across Sales, CS, Product, Ops, Analytics, and Policy to deliver scalable credit decisions
• Lead and grow a high-performing team of managers and credit professionals
• Build relationships with CFOs to evaluate complex credit and support long-term success
• Drive ops excellence by improving underwriting workflows and portfolio monitoring

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in commercial credit risk, underwriting, or portfolio management
• Deep expertise evaluating cash flow, statements, and credit exposure
• Experience managing commercial portfolios, underwriting and monitoring
• Strong understanding of commercial credit products and decisions
• Proven experience leading teams in fintech or financial services
• Excellent communication with CFOs and finance leaders
