Director, Financial Reporting - Special Projects

📋 Description

• Own the consolidated statement of cash flows end to end, including preparation, supporting
• Lead subsidiary and other compliance-related reporting, such as entity-level and special-purpose
• Lead the adoption of new accounting standards: impact assessment, data and system changes
• Lead stock-based compensation reporting, including the expense and award-activity roll-forwards
• Contribute to the preparation and review of periodic SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) and related
• Contribute to peer disclosure benchmarking, including frequent and proactive review of peer

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on ownership of a statement of cash flows, including preparation, classification under ASC
• Experience with subsidiary, statutory, or other compliance-related reporting (e.g., entity-level
• Experience using Claude or similar AI tools to build new financial reporting workflows or automation
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, including Regulation S-X and S-K
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex
• Sound judgment and comfort owning ambiguous work, setting priorities, and meeting filing deadlines
