Director, Fleet Operations

📋 Description

• Develop and execute a multi-year fleet strategy aligned with business growth, service requirements
• Translate business demand into fleet capacity plans, vehicle and equipment specifications, asset
• Establish a scalable fleet operating model with clear service levels, decision rights, operating
• Partner with business leaders to anticipate changing operational needs and ensure fleet
• Own fleet operating and capital budgets, including annual planning, forecasting, variance
• Lead the full asset lifecycle, including specification, acquisition, registration, deployment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, supply chain, logistics, or a
• 8+ years of progressive experience in fleet operations, transportation, logistics, or asset
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, with demonstrated success developing teams and managers
• Demonstrated success developing and executing a multi-year fleet or asset-management strategy in a
• Experience owning operating and capital budgets, developing investment business cases, and
• Demonstrated knowledge of Class 1–8 truck specifications, including vehicle configuration
