Director, NPI Operations Engineering

📋 Description

• Own manufacturesability of new products across supply chain and in-house manufacturing
• Drive DFx input from early architecture onward
• Set and commit to assembly time and yield targets for each new product
• Own operations sign-off at product development gates
• Use PFMEA, DFM reviews, and prototype data to align product design with manufacturing strategy
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks before production ramp

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, NPI, or production engineering for
• 4+ years leading engineering teams including hiring and developing engineers and managers
• Track record of taking multiple complex hardware products from early development into high-quality
• Deep expertise in DFM/DFA and influencing product design early
• Hands-on fixture design experience and strong understanding of factory lines and assembly flow
