Director of Engineering – Studio Systems

📋 Description

• Own the technical direction of Studio’s core systems.
• Lead teams on scripting, debugging, toolchain, and architecture.
• Set and uphold high quality for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Lead senior engineers and managers across multiple teams.
• Drive alignment across Studio, Engine, Product, Design, Infrastructure, and partners.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate strategy into durable roadmaps.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years engineering leadership of large-scale systems.
• Proven leader through major architectural/tooling/platform transitions.
• Experience building developer tools, IDEs, or editor tech.
• Deep systems background with substantial C++ experience.
• Familiar with creator tools in game development, 3D, or interactive environments.
• Track record delivering reliable, high-quality systems in production.
