Director of Office of the CEO, Founder in Residence

📋 Description

• Own CEO-priority projects; quarterly strategic initiatives.
• Diagnose and fix under-performing processes with cross-functional teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Sales, Product, Lab Ops, Compliance, Reimbursement, Finance, BD, Legal, HR.
• Operate with AI; apply first-principles thinking to move fast.
• Partner with CEO and Chief of Staff; present to executives and board as needed.
• Hybrid onsite role; relocation to SF Bay Area required; onsite 3 days/week.

🎯 Requirements

• 6-10+ years building or operating in entrepreneurial or builder environments.
• Backgrounds: founder with exits, senior exec (COO/CPO/VP) at top scaleup, or top-tier healthcare consultant with operational exposure.
• First-principles thinker with strong analytical horsepower.
• Builder mentality; bias to action; comfortable with ambiguity; operates without a playbook.
• AI-native fluency; using AI tools to move faster.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including with executives and the Board.
• Genuine interest in molecular diagnostics and BillionToOne mission.
• On-site position; relocation to SF Bay Area required.
