Director of People Operations

📋 Description

• Own the People Operations function end-to-end, including global payroll, employee lifecycle, Talent
• Architect the next version of People Operations for the AI era, designing systems and automations
• Map manual admin steps across payroll, lifecycle, hiring, and People programs; identify and build
• Design how Rippling, Remote, and Ashby work together, and write frameworks and playbooks that
• Manage and coach a team of two (Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and People Operations Manager)
• Handle complex employee relations and compliance cases, and own calibration, promotion, and exit

🎯 Requirements

• People Operations or HR leadership experience through a growth-stage transition (100-300 person
• Systems architecture thinking: designing how several platforms and their data work together for
• Hands-on experience building automations or AI agents.
• Payroll and employment compliance across multiple jurisdictions (ideally Australia, UK, US, Canada).
• Writing frameworks and playbooks that other teams run off (levelling, compensation, performance
• Designing and running people analytics and engagement measurement end-to-end.
