Director of Structured Finance

📋 Description

• Own financing workstreams end-to-end for Cloudflare's network and data center infrastructure —
• Translate infrastructure requirements and capex plans into clear, investable frameworks and
• Represent Cloudflare independently in negotiations with external counterparties, exercising sound
• Evaluate lease vs. buy vs. finance trade-offs and recommend the structures that best balance cost
• Build repeatable internal frameworks, playbooks, and processes for evaluating, approving, and
• Collaborate with Cloudflare's Treasury team on the company's broader capital markets strategy

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across structured or project finance, infrastructure investing, private
• A track record of leading complex financing transactions through to close, including direct
• The ability to run a financing workstream independently, without close supervision, and to
• Deep structuring expertise — e.g., equipment finance, leasing and sale-leaseback, asset-backed and
• Advanced financial modeling, credit analysis, and transaction documentation skills, including
• Working knowledge of the accounting and tax implications of financing structures, and comfort
