Director, Procurement

📋 Description

• Define and manage the procurement strategy for electronic, optical, and mechanical components, raw
• Select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, competitiveness, and
• Control total cost of ownership (TCO) and identify opportunities to improve costs, lead times, and
• Collaborate with engineering to improve product development and identify critical suppliers
• Develop risk mitigation and supply diversification strategies, including alternative sources and
• Oversee order, inventory, and purchase forecast management related to production, finished goods

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, operations management, industrial
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, operations planning, supplier management
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and tracking, analysis, and planning tools
• Solid understanding of electronic, optical, and mechanical components, and global supply chains
• Excellent negotiation, supplier management, cost analysis, and total cost of ownership optimization
• Ability to manage procurement risks, allocation issues, obsolescence, critical deadlines, and
