Director, Systems Integration, Diagnostics

📋 Description

• Define and execute Waymo's global strategy for systems integration, diagnostics, vehicle
• Lead, scale, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering organization encompassing Systems
• Own end-to-end systems integration and bring-up of new Waymo Driver hardware and OEM vehicle
• Drive the architecture and development of next-generation diagnostics infrastructure, automated
• Establish, mature, and scale vehicle commissioning: end-of-line test, provisioning, calibration
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Hardware, Software, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering/integration, diagnostics, or integration for complex
• 5+ years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of leading and growing
• Proven track record leading full-system hardware/software bring-up, HIL testbed architecture, and
• Deep technical breadth across electrical, mechanical, and software domains, with experience in
• Experience scaling products from early-stage prototyping and low-volume to high-volume
