📋 Description

• Support daily meal service by keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with food preparation and meal service as directed.
• Maintain high cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
• On-site role at KIPP NYC campuses in the Bronx, Brooklyn, or Manhattan.
• Collaborate with culinary team to deliver quality meals.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen or food service preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Physically able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and tolerate kitchen conditions.
