Ecological Restoration Technician

📋 Description

• Lead role in field execution of ecological restoration projects
• Operate various equipment including trucks with trailers, UTVs, skid steers, chainsaws, backpack
• Ensure quality, safety, and environmental goals met on every project
• Mentor junior crew members
• Facilitate daily safety meetings and model proper PPE usage
• Interpret project plans including planting plans, erosion and sediment control plans, invasive

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of field experience in ecological restoration or related work
• Valid Commercial Pesticide Applicator License in applicable categories (or ability to obtain)
• Proficiency operating and maintaining field equipment including trailers, skid steers, chainsaws
• Proven experience conducting herbicide treatments and identifying native/invasive plant species
• Advanced use of GPS mapping tools
