EHS Training Specialist II

📋 Description

• Deliver scheduled EHS training courses at Long Beach facilities, including classroom instruction
• Develop new training content and materials in response to operational needs, regulatory changes
• Maintain training scheduling, enrollment management, and completion tracking to ensure employees
• Coordinate with the site EHS team, operations leadership, and hiring managers to identify training
• Act as a visible EHS resource, modeling safety best practices and addressing training-related
• Perform routine pre- and post-training inspections on all specialized safety equipment, rigging

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Education, or related technical field, or
• 3+ years of experience delivering EHS training in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and training requirements, including hands-on practical
• Demonstrated experience developing training curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments
• Demonstrated experience operating overhead/gantry cranes, forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial/boom
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training record management.
