Electrical Engineer II, TASER

📋 Description

• Research, propose, and develop innovative circuit designs for TASER products.
• Design, develop, and verify assigned system circuitry and hardware.
• Design embedded mixed-signal circuitry using OrCAD with HV power, MCU, memory, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with PCB designers to review layouts for signal integrity and manufacturability.
• Develop test methods and test plans to evaluate hardware designs.
• Bring up, characterize, and debug systems using lab tools.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional electronics design in embedded power systems.
• Experience across schematic design, PCB layout, bring-up, debug, verification, and production release.
• Proficient in switch-mode power supplies and high-voltage design; magnetics a plus.
• Experience with embedded microcontrollers, USB/UART/SPI/I2C, and memory.
• EMC/ESD design experience and familiarity with regulatory testing (FCC/CE/IEC).
