Electrical Estimator - Utility Scale Solar

📋 Description

• Review RFQ packages, electrical drawings, site layouts, single-line diagrams, specifications, bills
• Perform detailed electrical material takeoffs covering cable lengths, harnesses, strings
• Develop accurate project estimates incorporating material costs, supplier pricing, freight
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, scope gaps, incompatible materials, and other risks
• Validate quantities, material selections, calculations, and drawing revisions before estimates are
• Partner with Supply Chain and manufacturing teams to obtain and validate supplier pricing, lead

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience, or equivalent electrical construction or design
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, site plans
• Hands-on experience performing detailed material takeoffs and developing project estimates.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, cables, conductors, connectors, and provide support for
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using Bluebeam or comparable takeoff and
