Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee field installation of electrical systems, including MCCs, VFDs, motor wiring
• Review and interpret electrical single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, loop drawings, equipment
• Resolve field technical issues, support field fitting where design conflicts occur, and coordinate
• Prepare and review RFIs, field change requests, technical reports, proposals, and other project
• Collaborate with instrumentation and automation specialists to support system integration, testing
• Monitor electrical QA/QC activities, verify construction compliance, and contribute to turnover

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, along with a Professional
• 5–8 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably within mining, milling, heavy
• Strong technical knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, control wiring
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, loop drawings
• Experience supporting field fitting, construction-driven design changes, troubleshooting, testing
• Familiarity with MSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E requirements and electrical safety practices, with MSHA
