EMC/EMI System Engineer (SME)

📋 Description

• Lead system-level electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI)
• Perform conducted and radiated emissions and susceptibility analyses, including CE/CS and RE/RS
• Conduct magnetic field analyses and assess spacecraft surface charging and internal charging
• Evaluate spacecraft panel shielding effectiveness and recommend design modifications to mitigate
• Develop, review, and oversee EMC/EMI test plans, ensuring appropriate verification and validation
• Collaborate with systems engineers, payload designers, antenna specialists, and integration teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical
• Between 7 and 10 years of relevant experience in EMC/EMI analysis, design, and testing for
• Strong expertise in system-level EMC/EMI analysis, including conducted and radiated emissions and
• Demonstrated experience performing magnetic field assessments, surface charging and internal
• Proven ability to develop, review, and validate EMC/EMI test plans and verification procedures for
• Proficiency with electromagnetic simulation and analysis tools such as CST and FEKO.
