Employment Counsel - AMER

📋 Description

• Advise on U.S. employment law matters (recruiting, leaves, investigations).
• Draft, review, and guide on employment documents (offers, contracts, policies).
• Partner with Legal and People to develop compliant practices and initiatives.
• Support employment law in mergers, acquisitions, and post-close integration.
• Assess legal risk and advise on practical, business-focused solutions.
• Monitor changes in employment laws and implement compliant policies.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active U.S. bar in good standing (NY preferred).
• 4+ years in U.S. employment law; in-house experience preferred.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice while balancing risk.
• Strong communicator who builds cross-functional relationships and exercises sound judgment.
• Organized, collaborative; manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced env.
• International employment law, immigration, mobility, or multinational experience a plus.
