Engineer Manager

📋 Description

• Manage a team of 5 to 6 developers: own their delivery, quality, and day-to-day priorities.
• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to scope, plan, and deliver against a high bar for
• Coach and grow your developers: help them build skills, navigate hard problems, and plan their next
• Set clear expectations and give ongoing feedback, so your team always knows where it stands.
• Champion CI/CD, code quality, and observability practices across your team's systems.
• Give senior leadership visibility into your team's impact, progress, and risk.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of software development management experience, with a track record of leading teams that
• A strong technical foundation: system design, computer science fundamentals, modern web
• Experience with technical design, problem-solving, and project management (Jira experience
• A genuine interest in hiring, coaching, and developing engineers, not just directing them.
• Comfort partnering with Recruiting and other managers to hire and scale the org.
• Excellent communication: you can carry a tradeoff conversation with an engineer and a non-technical
