Engineering Manager, 3D Measurement Team

📋 Description

• Lead Hover's 3D Measurements engineering team.
• Own measurement data: roof area, wall dimensions, ridge, rake, and eave.
• Own systems that generate artifacts and interactive 3D visuals.
• Set technical direction for geometry, rendering, and backend; partner with Product/Modeling/CV/ML.
• Hands-on coding 1-2 days per week with the team.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineers; foster ownership and excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2+ years of engineering management leading software teams.
• 6+ years hands-on graphics eng, computational geometry, CAD, or related.
• Deep understanding of 3D math, geometry, spatial reasoning, and algorithms.
• Hands-on: code 1–2 days per week with the team.
• Proven mentoring and coaching of engineers at different stages.
• Strong project leadership balancing technical priorities and business goals.
• Experience in fast-moving startup or growth environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
