Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 8 frontend and backend engineers
• Hire, onboard and grow the team, with clear expectations and regular feedback
• Raise the bar on technical quality: clear boundaries, sound designs and high operational standards
• Improve delivery speed and quality by reducing lead time and change failure rate
• Own reliability with the team: SLOs, observability, system health and blameless incident reviews
• Work with Product and Tech Leads to plan and deliver, balancing new features, improvements, bugs

🎯 Requirements

• A background as a Senior or above IC before moving into management
• 2+ years as an Engineering Manager
• A track record of improving quality and speed through technical and process change
• A strong understanding of distributed systems and data integrity
• Clear communication across locations and time zones
