📋 Description

• Lead a software engineering team delivering Firefox Suggest Ads initiatives.
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering growth, impact, and high-quality software.
• Partner with product managers and cross-functional teams to navigate privacy, policy and UX constraints.
• Ensure software is reliable, maintainable, and aligned with Mozilla's standards for quality, security, and privacy.
• Foster an inclusive team culture with healthy processes and clear communication.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding to grow the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, incl 2+ years in people management.
• Proven track record delivering production software with teams.
• Strong prioritization and execution judgment; balance short-term with long-term.
• Familiar with modern SDLC practices: planning, triage, delivery workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers and partner teams.
• Experience mentoring engineers of varied skills in distributed, asynchronous setups.
• Experience in search/ads or privacy-sensitive domains; or ability to learn.
