📋 Description

• Lead a team of 4 to 8 senior engineers to deliver high-availability banking services.
• Translate company and product direction into clear, measurable team objectives.
• Build a predictable delivery system that makes progress, risks, and tradeoffs visible.
• Balance customer-facing improvements with platform reliability, operational readiness, and
• Partner with Product, Design, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to make Mercury’s banking products
• Hire and onboard engineers while maintaining a consistent, high-quality interview process.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team.
• Experience building or operating reliable financial, banking, payments, or other high-integrity
• Comfortable working across product, policy, infrastructure, and operational boundaries.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear decisions, owners, and execution plans.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to engage deeply with system design and implementation.
• Experience developing senior engineers and creating opportunities for engineers to lead.
