Engineering Manager, Core Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Lead and develop Core Infrastructure team for production-critical systems.
• Own execution across portfolio: set priorities, sequence work, ensure quality.
• Improve infrastructure operating model: clearer ownership, reduce support burden.
• Advance Ro’s reliability, observability, and disaster recovery posture.
• Partner with Product Eng, Cyber, Data Infra, and Infra leadership to improve reliability and velocity.
• Create a high-context, high-trust team with clear expectations and accountability.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, or production teams in a cloud-native environment.
• Strong judgment across production infra: AWS, Kubernetes, Lambda, Cloudflare, Datadog, Pulumi, Terraform.
• Experience improving on-call, incident response, ownership, DR readiness, and prod docs.
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus.
• Hands-on leader near architecture and incidents to unblock decisions.
• Pragmatic, AI-forward approach to infra engineering and ops.
