Engineering Manager II, Runtime Services

📋 Description

• Establish strategy, charter, and operating model for a new team responsible for two major platforms
• Lead the technical roadmap and evolution of these platforms, advancing automation, self-service
• Build partnerships with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, drive adoption, and
• Strengthen operational excellence by improving observability, incident response, service health
• Hire, coach, and grow a high-performing team while establishing an inclusive culture of ownership
• Use AI to accelerate planning, technical exploration, documentation, and operational analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 9 years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in distributed platforms and
• Minimum 2 years of engineering management experience leading high-availability platform and backend
• Strong technical foundation in platform reliability, observability, Kubernetes or cloud
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous execution, workflow orchestration, and
• Experience setting technical strategy and delivering improvements to scalability, operational
• Ability to lead cross-platform work and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
