Engineering Manager - (ML) - Evaluation Platform

📋 Description

• Lead a large, senior team of 9+ engineers in Canva's Evaluation Platform
• Own and articulate the evaluation platform vision and strategy
• Drive cross-team delivery from ideation to completion with autonomy
• Coach, mentor, and grow engineers, guiding growth goals
• Own development rituals: planning, stand-ups, retrospectives
• Collaborate with AI feature teams and CORE leadership on roadmaps

🎯 Requirements

• History of technical people leadership of senior staff ICs
• Experience with ML evaluation, LLMs, or ML platform engineering
• Experience designing complex distributed systems with ML
• Strong stakeholder management across customer teams
• First principles thinking; ability to make bold decisions
• Balance strong technical and people leadership with clear comms
