Engineering Manager, Mobile Core

📋 Description

• Own reliability and performance for the Hover Pro app, using Sentry fingerprinting, code-owner
• Lead architecture decisions across React Native (New Architecture), Expo, TypeScript, and native
• Improve CI/CD, release cadence, on-call, and old-version sunsetting so every mobile team ships
• Partner with mobile QA on testability: dev tooling, debug menus, and hooks for AI-assisted
• Steward shared foundations: the mobile design system, offline data layer, push notifications
• Partner with our Capture SDK team on native SDK adoption, and with backend teams on upload

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience shipping a React Native and TypeScript app in production at scale
• Experience leading engineers, as an engineering manager or as a tech lead with people
• Enough native iOS and/or Android depth to make sound calls at the boundary: native modules, camera
• A track record of owning shared mobile foundations that other teams build on, including CI/CD
• Experience using Sentry, New Relic, or similar to drive down crash rates and turn data into
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools like Cursor or Claude, and experience helping a team
