📋 Description

• Own customer and business outcomes by partnering with Product, Design, Data, and Operations to
• Set technical direction and guide architecture and engineering decisions across the services owned
• Lead teams working with backend technologies such as Python, Go, and Ruby, as well as APIs
• Oversee service migrations, reliability improvements, security, performance, observability, and
• Build a high-agency engineering team by providing clear context, decision-making boundaries
• Remove obstacles, collaborate across organizational boundaries, and help engineers find practical

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience building and operating customer-facing software products, platforms, or backend
• Previous experience managing and developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong technical judgment across backend services, APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Python, Go, Ruby, or comparable backend programming languages and technologies.
• Understanding of databases, asynchronous workflows, AWS, observability, service reliability
• Demonstrated ability to guide technical architecture and engineering decisions while remaining
