Engineering Manager, Supplier Payments (Finance)

📋 Description

• Lead and empower a cross-functional sprint team on Fora’s Finance pod.
• Build the financial operating system for travel entrepreneurs, including AI-powered booking
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and engineers to drive impactful business outcomes.
• Operate on a high-stakes system with pivot costs, where downtime is not an option.
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and contribute to hands-on technical work.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in engineering leadership (Engineering Manager/Tech Lead) in consumer-facing fintech.
• 8+ years in web systems development.
• Strong ability to mentor, manage performance, and build motivated teams.
• Experience making architectural decisions, managing technical debt, and setting standards.
• Excellent project management and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Proven recruiting experience and collaborative leadership in a startup environment.
