📋 Description

• Manage a team of Backend, Frontend, AI, and automation engineers
• Own the vision for SeatGeek’s core support tools and integrations
• Build and iterate tools to boost fan experience
• Perform code and architecture reviews, provide design feedback
• Provide regular feedback, hold 1:1s, and mentor reports
• Collaborate with product to align the team with goals
• Make build or buy decisions with vendors
• Roll up sleeves to deliver features across the platform
• Communicate decisions and unblock issues with leaders
• Lead recruiting to grow the engineering team
• Salary range: $171,000 - $248,000 USD

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as an engineer focused on coding
• 2+ years as an engineering manager of productive teams
• Proven track record shipping UX that elevates high-stakes customer experiences
• End-to-end customer support software in a marketplace product
• Built and led lean, productive, motivated teams
• Fosters safe, inclusive engineering environments
• Comfortable defining architecture, team processes, and roadmap
• Able to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of customer support tools and workflows
• Leads cross-functional alignment across product, design, eng, and leadership
• Hands-on experience with custom tools for support agents
• Experience with AI agent tooling and workflows
