Engineering Manager, Time

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers as a player-coach; coordinate projects and priorities.
• Own the full pipeline from time entry to time payable, shipping time lifecycle features.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other teams to define roadmap and priorities.
• Define long-term strategy and quarterly roadmap; measure progress toward goals.
• Foster technical excellence; drive decisions, and mentor engineers to grow.
• Attract, hire, and retain a high-performing engineering team.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience on production web apps
• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing a team of engineers
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, craft, and achieve plans
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• High levels of empathy and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of core web development technologies, data structures, distributed systems
