📋 Description

• Build and lead a new full-stack Travel team; hire and onboard engineers.
• Define and sharpen the team's mandate within Travel; set focus.
• Set technical and product direction; tradeoffs on what to build and when.
• Ship a high-quality travel product; balance speed with a solid foundation.
• Foster a people-centered culture on a new team built on enablement and trust.
• Partner cross-functionally across Travel, Expenses, and Product to align scope.

🎯 Requirements

• Track record in engineering leadership; scale customer-facing products and hiring.
• Strong product sense; defend product/UX tradeoffs, not just tech.
• Staff-level technical bar; operate across levels and earn respect.
• Strong customer empathy and advocacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Travel domain experience or experience standing up a new team/product area.
