Engineering Manager, Verifications

📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Verifications engineering team, setting direction and hiring.
• Own reliability and quality of a broad portfolio of fulfillment integrations.
• Define product roadmap with Product across employment, education, drug/health, and compliance.
• Drive technical strategy to scale a complex integration-heavy system.
• Lead AI-assisted development adoption while preserving quality and accuracy.
• Represent Verifications in cross-functional planning with Product, Compliance, and Engineering leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years as engineering manager leading high-performing teams.
• 8+ years as a software engineer with service architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience managing complex third-party integrations and reliability across unowned systems.
• Track record of improving operational metrics and reducing incidents in production.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and agentic coding tools.
• Experience on regulated products with data accuracy and legal compliance.
