Environmental Test Lab Specialist

📋 Description

• Lead hands-on environmental testing ops for Terran R avionics hardware (vibration, shock, thermal).
• Execute qualification test procedures (QTP) and ATP with minimal supervision.
• Support setup, instrumentation, operation, troubleshooting, and teardown of environmental test configs.
• Configure and operate data acquisition systems, accelerometers, thermocouples, and supporting instrumentation.
• Interpret engineering drawings, test procedures, schematics, and hardware requirements.
• Collaborate with test engineers, avionics, manufacturing, and quality to troubleshoot issues and maintain flight-readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years supporting environmental testing in aerospace, defense, electronics, or high-rel hardware.
• Hands-on experience independently executing ATP and environmental test procedures with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vibration, shock, and/or thermal testing operations, including test setup, instrumentation, and hardware handling practices.
• Experience configuring and operating environmental test equipment and supporting instrumentation (thermal chambers, vibration systems, accelerometers, thermocouples, data acquisition).
• Ability to interpret test procedures, engineering drawings, schematics, and hardware requirements.
• Experience exporting, organizing, and communicating test data; strong troubleshooting.
