Event Manager - Sheffield

📋 Description

• Take ownership of on-the-ground event delivery from set-up to breakdown
• Coordinate event staff, suppliers, venues, and contractors
• Manage event breakdown and ensure venue is left clean and tidy
• Brief and manage front-of-house, bar, and other event staff
• Coordinate staff rotas, breaks, and responsibilities during events
• Help create a welcoming, friendly, and well-organized guest experience

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience managing or coordinating live events, hospitality operations, bars, venues, or
• Practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck into whatever needs doing
• Confident managing people and taking responsibility for an event on the ground
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently
• Calm under pressure and comfortable making decisions when things don't go to plan
• Friendly, approachable, and confident dealing with guests, staff, suppliers, and venue teams
