Facilities Engineer I

📋 Description

• Support facilities and infra projects from field investigation to closeout.
• Develop scopes of work, technical requirements, and bid packages.
• Review contractor proposals, drawings, schedules, and change requests.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, NASA, EHS, and internal partners.
• Conduct field observations, document status, and escalate issues.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch-list, turnover docs, and verification.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architectural, Facilities Engineering, or related field.
• Internships, co-ops, or related work in facilities or industrial systems.
• Foundational understanding of engineering principles and applying them to problems.
• Gather and organize technical information, evaluate field conditions, and develop solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication of technical information.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to access operational facilities, construction areas, and mechanical spaces.
