Field Engineer / Supervisor

📋 Description

• Lead and supervise field teams and subcontractors during GIS installation, assembly, maintenance
• Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, materials, and other site resources to ensure efficient
• Serve as the primary technical and operational customer interface at project sites.
• Lead daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and Job Safety Analyses (JSA/AHA).
• Coordinate site activities and interfaces among customers, contractors, commissioning teams, and
• Monitor work progress and prepare accurate daily, weekly, and final project reports.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant hands-on field experience installing, assembling, maintaining, repairing, and
• Proven experience supervising high-voltage field work, installation teams, and commissioning
• Strong understanding of both European and North American substation standards and practices.
• Ability to read, interpret, mark up, and revise mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, control
• Working knowledge of Local Control Cubicles (LCC) and secondary/control systems.
• Ability to convert engineering documentation from European standards to North American requirements.
