Finance Manager - Kenya

📋 Description

• Own monthly management reporting pack and executive commentary
• Manage end-to-end monthly close: accruals, prepayments, intercompany, depreciation, FX
• Produce variance analysis isolating market-specific effects from one-off items
• Monitor loan book, analyze repayment behaviour by cohort, and own provisioning and bad debt trends
• Support statutory and regulatory reporting, manage documentation for funding and compliance
• Act as a commercial partner: interrogate unit economics, model new product launches, assess pricing

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA(K), ACCA, CA or equivalent)
• Demonstrable track record in finance management or senior finance role, including hands-on
• Deep, applied IFRS knowledge — particularly IFRS 9, IFRS 16, IAS 21, and revenue recognition
• Proven ability to manage audit processes end-to-end, from file preparation to auditor queries
• Exceptional financial modelling and communication skills (e.g., build complex multi-scenario models
• Big 4 training (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG) is a strong advantage; working knowledge of Kenyan
