Finance Manager - Nigeria

📋 Description

• Own the financial management of the Nigeria business
• Responsible for monthly management reporting pack, executive commentary, IFRS 9 Expected Credit
• Manage end-to-end monthly close: accruals, prepayments, intercompany, depreciation, FX
• Produce variance analysis
• Monitor loan book, analyse repayment behaviour by cohort, own provisioning and bad debt trends
• Support statutory and regulatory reporting, manage documentation for funding and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, CA or equivalent) with track record in finance
• Deep, applied IFRS knowledge (IFRS 9, IFRS 16, IAS 21, revenue recognition) and ability to manage
• Exceptional financial modelling and communication skills
• Big 4 training (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG) is a strong advantage
• Working knowledge of Nigerian fintech, lending, or asset-financing sector is a plus
