Financial Accountant

📋 Description

• Hands on day-to-day accounting functions including but not limited to: Accounts Payable/Expenses
• Manage payroll processing, superannuation and related reconciliations, liaising with Rippling and
• Assist with accurate and timely month end close by preparing various journal entries and account
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain transaction information, research reconciling items
• Assist with the preparation and lodgement of tax and statutory compliance obligations
• Assist in preparation of financial statements notes and collating information for our financial

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in a position equivalent to a general ledger accountant/bookkeeper or higher
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline - Working towards or
• Good working knowledge of IFRS, knowledge of GAAP helpful
• Experience in payroll processes across Australia, UK and/or the USA
• Experience with Campfire, Ramp, Stripe, (or similar accounting ERP), Google Workspace - Proficiency
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional problem-solving skills
