FinOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Establish cloud cost visibility via tagging and allocation across multi-cloud.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities: RI, savings plans, right-sizing.
• Develop and automate FinOps processes: cost forecasting, budgets.
• Partner with Eng, DevOps, and product teams on cost vs. performance.
• Create dashboards and reports on cloud spend, forecasts, and drivers.
• Refine FinOps governance policies for cost discipline.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in cloud infra, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization in production.
• Experience with cloud billing/cost tools (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret cloud billing data.
• Clear communication with cross-functional teams in a distributed/remote setting.
