Full Stack Engineer, Builder Experience

📋 Description

• Design and build tools that help Stripe teams shape better products, ship with greater speed and
• Develop AI-native workflows and agents that synthesize context, automate repetitive work, surface
• Own projects end to end: identify high-value problems, develop prototypes, test them with users
• Work across backend systems, data sources, internal platforms, and polished user-facing experiences.
• Partner directly with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, and cross-functional
• Integrate with platforms such as Kai and Compass while identifying where new foundational

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend and/or full-stack software development experience
• Demonstrated technical experience leading the design and delivery of new product experiences from
• Strong full-stack engineering skills, including experience building reliable backend services and
• Ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity environments: framing problems, experimenting
• Excellent cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration skills, with the ability to align
• Strong engineering judgment around system reliability, operational excellence, security, and
