Fund Accounting Senior Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee key team processes involved in ensuring accurate accounting for and reporting of investment
• Develop and own descriptions, matrices and flow charts in relation to the key processes and controls
• Develop and own processes to onboard new clients from existing administrators and service providers
• Interact with external auditors and ensure timely completion of fund audits
• Oversee portfolio company events and data evaluation, determining appropriate valuation actions for
• Coach and oversee a team of managers and/or senior accountants

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in investment company accounting, with a strong academic track record and
• Have experience working at a public accounting firm and/or experience at a fund administrator or
• Proficiency in US GAAP, particularly ASC 946 and ASC 820
• Extensive experience in financial statement creation for investment companies/funds, including
• A track record of improving financial reporting control environments and SOC 1 report process
• Experience in preparing materials for and coordinating with external auditors
