Geospatial Analyst II

📋 Description

• Process and classify topographic and bathymetric LiDAR data, including point-cloud grounding
• Analyze and review LiDAR, 2D and 3D vector data, DEMs, DSMs, hydrography, and derivative geospatial
• Develop scripts, models, and macros across GIS and remote sensing platforms to support production
• Perform relative and absolute LiDAR adjustments, including calibration, alignment, and registration.
• Conduct rigorous QA/QC of processed datasets and mapping products to verify accuracy, quality, and
• Create digital mapping and remotely sensed products using a range of software platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant
• Experience processing elevation data and creating or manipulating elevation models, hydrography
• Strong understanding of GIS, LiDAR, elevation data, raster and vector formats, coordinate systems
• In-depth knowledge of ESRI technologies, including ArcGIS 10.x, ArcGIS Pro, and geodatabases.
• Experience with LiDAR production workflows, point-cloud analysis, acquisition and processing
• Experience with LiDAR swath calibration tools such as Bayes Strip Align, TerraSolid TerraMatch, or
