📋 Description

• Lead monthly and quarterly close, GL, AP/AR, payroll, and account reconciliations, delivering
• Own revenue accounting and serve as technical accounting authority on subscription and usage-based
• Author technical accounting position memos on contract modifications, SSP allocation, variable
• Own equity compensation accounting (ASC 718): grant accuracy, 409A timing, expense, modifications
• Manage and grow a team of ~7, building trust quickly and developing leads.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leading a team through managers or leads.
• Big 4 (or equivalent top-tier public accounting) foundation.
• Deep US GAAP mastery, particularly in subscription and usage-based revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Concrete, personally-owned automation or AI deployment in accounting with measurable result.
• Experience scaling an accounting function that was already running.
• Proven track record with external audits and keeping books audit-ready.
