GNC & Flight Software Intern - Spring/Summer 2027

📋 Description

• Support the development and implementation of flight software and guidance and control algorithms
• Implement, integrate, and test control algorithms in simulation, embedded, and hardware-integrated
• Assist with control law development, tuning, and validation for vehicle stability and performance
• Develop software interfaces, messaging, and integrations between flight and mission subsystems
• Analyze test data, troubleshoot system behavior, and support improvements to software and control
• Collaborate across software, GNC, avionics, and vehicle engineering teams to validate integrated

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical
• Background in either software development with exposure to GNC/controls, or GNC/controls with
• Experience with C++, C, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar programming and engineering tools
• Familiarity with controls, dynamics, simulation, embedded systems, or hardware/software integration
• Hands-on experience through internships, coursework, research, or technical projects
• Strong understanding of engineering first principles
