Government Affairs Associate

📋 Description

• Advocate for relevant policy issues and develop relationships with policymakers in U.S. Congress
• Lead engagements with industry associations, ensuring their agenda supports Robinhood's policy goals
• Apply political and policy expertise to identify opportunities that advance Robinhood's policy
• Equip key internal business partners with a clear and timely understanding of sophisticated
• Lead the strategy of and prepare Robinhood executives for engagements with relevant government

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working in the U.S. Congress and/or Executive Branch, including experience
• Substantial time working for a member of Congress or a Congressional committee
• Familiarity with financial services companies and can communicate sophisticated financial services
• Existing relationships and positive rapport with relevant government stakeholders and industry
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills — with the ability to communicate
• An execution-oriented mindset with the drive and creativity to get things done, and eagerness to
