📋 Description

• Set the editorial vision and strategy for Axios Live programming across all event formats
• Ensure all editorial outputs meet Axios' editorial standards and Smart Brevity style
• Exercise sound editorial judgment and adapt programming in fast-moving news environments
• Lead and develop the Axios Live editorial team
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture
• Serve as primary liaison between Axios Live and the broader newsroom

🎯 Requirements

• 12-15+ years of journalism or editorial experience
• Significant experience in live news, events, TV or video production, or related fields
• Proven success working with a newsroom and building cross-functional relationships
• Excellent writing, copy editing, and research skills
• Deep familiarity with digital and social media landscapes
• Strong understanding of Axios' Smart Brevity style
